Abraham: Genesis 18:16-21 underlines God and Abraham, once again! Clearly, God had the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah on His mind, but verse 19 goes toward Abraham: "For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him." Many wonder how to be a Christian and what to do. Just reread v. 19: Are you and I keeping the way of the Lord??
Are you and I doing righteousness and justice??
Much of the Bible alludes to Abraham! He clearly was the friend of God, as one reads the pages of the Old and New Testaments! Are you and I truly the friend of God?? Friends of God obey Him like Abraham did many times! Trust the Lord with your life!
